This year's meeting, Wetlands on the Edge: Challenges in Wetland and Riparian Restoration will be
held in Yuma at the Holiday Inn.
What better place to learn about wetlands than by the lower Colorado River. Learn how wetlands along the River have been impacted over time and the efforts underway to restore the area to some of its former glory.

Thursday March 17: CONFUSED BY ALL THOSE STRANGE SOUNDS YOU HEAR IN A MARSH? A marsh bird identification workshop will be given by Courtney Conway, USGS.
Friday March 18: ARIZONA RIPARIAN COUNCIL ANNUAL MEETING Morning plenary session of presenters will discuss restoration projects and the challenges that were overcome to implement them in southern Arizona, California, and Mexico. Afternoon session will be a presentation of technical papers. There is a call for abstracts which will be accepted until February 11, 2011. Friday evening we will have a dinner and enjoy a few short riparian-related films.
Saturday March 19: Participants will travel to see restoration projects in the Yuma area and also get field experience from the marsh bird workshop.
